Gut Friendly Green Apple Smoothie
peeled, cored, diced and frozen
or milk of your choice
honey or maple syrup
Optional for extra sweetness
Add the frozen apple, almond milk and spinach to a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the sachet of VSL#3 in to the smoothie and stir to mix.
Serve and enjoy!
Frozen apple works best for this recipe to get a thick, cold smoothie. Simply core, peel and dice the apple and freeze the chunks overnight. If you are short on time, use a fresh apple and add ice.
