Gut Friendly Green Apple Smoothie

  • 1 green apple peeled, cored, diced and frozen
  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of your choice
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 sachet VSL#3 Probiotics
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup Optional for extra sweetness


  • Add the frozen apple, almond milk and spinach to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the sachet of VSL#3 in to the smoothie and stir to mix.
  • Serve and enjoy!


Frozen apple works best for this recipe to get a thick, cold smoothie. Simply core, peel and dice the apple and freeze the chunks overnight. If you are short on time, use a fresh apple and add ice.
